A commune committed to more democratic governance
A municipality that encourages citizen participation, listens to its residents, engages in transparent dialogue with them and ensures maximum collaboration between citizens, administration and political representatives.
CONTEXTE
The lack of dialogue with local authorities and the lack of EFFECTIVE participation by residents in the decisions that affect them are often cited at our participatory meetings. Major projects mobilizing substantial financial resources have been carried out or are planned without any real consultation, while at the same time little attention or resources are given to modest projects that are deemed useful by and for the residents.
Our position
We want to create closer ties between citizens and local authorities, through transparent management, genuine dialogue between elected representatives and citizens, and a policy of involvement and participation by residents wherever it makes sense. We want to develop a policy of participation that is progressive, reasoned but resolutely proactive, by allocating a budget and human and logistical resources.
