I am registering on the electoral roll for the local elections
Please note that non-Belgian residents must register until 31 07 2024 (as a reminder, Belgians are automatically included on the electoral roll). Once registered, you will receive an invitation to take part in the local election ons Sunday 13 10 2024 at the nearest polling station.
This is a special year because, for the first time, voting is no longer compulsory in Flanders. Even if you're registered, you don't have to vote!

The best way to influence this institution is to elect the political representatives who run it. In our commune, the executive (the commune's « ministers ») is directly elected by the electorate.
Horizon is the only list that
is not associated with nationalist or linguistic parties
includes French-speaking and Dutch-speaking parties
involves the local multilingual citizens' movement, of which several non-Belgian residents are members
