WHO AM I?
I am 52 years old and have been living in Wezembeek-Oppem for 11 years. I am fortunate to be able to see my children, who are now teenagers (16 and 14), grow up here. I am very easy to connect with socially (good circle of friends, parent committee in my children's schools, concerned about the happiness of others, ...), I am spontaneous, smiling, dynamic and positive.
I love to reconnect with nature, take walks or discover new countries on foot. I went to South America for 6 months when I was 30 and I love to introduce new cultures to our children; we recently went to Colombia. I love to meet what surrounds me and be able to capture the beauty of landscapes through photography.
I play tennis, cycling, and sports gym. I love to sing and read. Taking time for yourself is so important.
For twenty years, I was a management assistant, including at Glaverbel (AGC), and today, I have trained as a life coach. I am committed to supporting couples in their "becoming parents" as a companion before, during and after birth, to be able to listen to their needs while taking care of their loved ones. My experience has allowed me to deeply understand the unique challenges that parents face, particularly the crucial need for quality services from birth. Thanks to my expertise, I am convinced that we can improve the living conditions of families in Wezembeek-Oppem by offering adapted and accessible solutions, such as more nurseries and support services.
Motivation
This is a first for me to present myself as a candidate on a list! I believe in this citizen movement that is Wezem'Move! My ideal for our municipality is to create an environment where every family feels truly supported and valued. I dream of a city where the needs of parents are at the heart of local decisions, where every child has access, from birth, to quality services and where families can flourish. Together, we can build a supportive and welcoming community to create more connections in these times of real emotional challenges, both family and professional.
My values are: freedom, sharing and authenticity of being fully oneself!
Priorities
I want to take this opportunity to reinvest in our municipality and in our citizens to bring it back to life. Let's make Wezembeek-Oppem a village where it is good to live at the gates of our capital. To do this, I want to:
Environment and quality of life: Support the ecological transition and preserve green spaces.
Governance and participation: Ensure transparent and efficient management with sound finances.
Economic dynamism: Support local businesses and strengthen the dynamism of the municipality.
Flourishing family, serene future.
