#7 MARINA SIRAUT

WHO AM I?

Let me introduce myself, Marina Siraut, an enthusiastic and creative young woman of 40 years old. I live in the municipality with my husband Jean-Frédéric de Sauvage and our 2 children aged 10 and 8: Saskia and Robin. With 18 years of experience as a primary school teacher, I am now carrying out educational missions. I have also taught French as a foreign language at Berlitz and the Alliance Française. In parallel, I worked for 15 years as an Event Planner, with a particular passion for animation.

Now, I want to put my pedagogical expertise to work promoting childhood and early childhood in Wezembeek-Oppem. My experience also extends to leading camps for the Order of Malta and managing internships for children. As a former chief scout, unit leader, and founder of the 50th Queen Astrid Unit in Louvain-la-Neuve, I have always been involved in projects that bring young people together, which has strengthened my ability to mobilize teams.

Coming from a musical family and involved in welcoming candidates for the Queen Elisabeth Competition, I have organized children's choirs at the Placette, and you can also find me as a flutist at the family mass of Saint-Joseph. Culture and art are areas that I care about, and I want to promote them in our municipality.

My spontaneity leads me to establish magical connections between generations, and with my creative and tree-like way of thinking, I love to create bridges between ideas. And that's good because in Wezembeek, a municipality crossed several times by the highway, everything is also a story of bridges. With Marina, let's make Wezembeek-Oppem vibrate! Let's Wezem'bright!

My Motivations

With my experience in project management, I want to revitalize our community and I dream of creating:

  • Wezem'Boost: encourage local entrepreneurship JO-WO inter-neighborhoods and a toy library

  • Wezem Break: create meeting places for young people (bars, ice cream parlour, ...)

  • Wezem'Brain Storming: promote exchanges between citizens

  • Wezem'Bike-Bus: collect cycling schoolchildren at strategic locations safely and develop cycle paths

  • Antennas of benevolence: ensure the safety of our seniors and meet their needs with attentive listening I am committed to putting my pedagogical expertise to the service of our municipality to raise academic standards.

Join me in making education in Wezembeek-Oppem an example to follow where every child flourishes fully. In short, I want to release the energy of young people, promote sports, cultivate art and values, and unite generations and ideas in a vibrant and inspiring community.

My Motivations

Education and early childhood: increase the number of nurseries, create a flexible daycare and make Wezembeek-Oppem an example of educational excellence.

Multifunctional spaces: create multipurpose centers that combine coworking space, creative workshops, and leisure areas.
