WHO AM I?
I am a doctor by training with a decade of experience in quantitative and qualitative research at the Catholic University of Louvain, particularly on the health and well-being of vulnerable people in Belgium and abroad. I first came to our municipality in 1986 and returned in 2018 to build my family life here.
My values are mutual aid and community care. I firmly believe that our health and well-being largely depend on our social integration and the quality of our environment. This is what my experience has taught me: even if a part of our body shows symptoms, the cause is often elsewhere. I intend to put this lesson into practice if I am elected: to look beyond the symptoms and find the root cause that we need to work on.
My Motivations
I am committed to a healthy, harmonious municipality that is accessible to all and where we can thrive thanks to local ecological quality. If I have the honor of being elected to the CPAS, I will dedicate myself to ensuring that all residents of Wezembeek-Oppem have access to the care they need, when they need it. Moreover, I will work towards a welcoming and supportive community, with caring neighborhoods. Achieving this vision will require greater attention at the local level. Therefore, I will also strive to support local economic initiatives and other activities.
My priorities
A municipality that promotes health and well-being and can guarantee access to care for all.
A welcoming and supportive community with caring neighborhoods where we can all flourish.
A municipality that strengthens the local level by supporting economic initiatives and other activities of the residents of Wezembeek.
