#11 JULIE DEWULF

WHO AM I?

My name is Julie Dewulf, 34 years old, mother of two young children, and a Wezembeek resident since my early childhood.
After studying communication, I navigated between the non-profit sector, where I created an information space for young people in Brussels, and the luxury industry at Delvaux. These experiences allowed me to develop great versatility and an ability to adapt to different audiences and challenges.
My expatriation to Peru was a true revelation. I discovered a vibrant culture and built strong connections with local artisans. Upon returning to Belgium, I now use this experience at BellePaga, a company that combines ancestral expertise with the dynamism of a start-up.
I am convinced that Wezembeek-Oppem has immense potential. As an active citizen, I wish to contribute to making our municipality a place where it is good to live, in harmony with nature and open to the world.

MY Motivations

I am determined to work towards making Wezembeek-Oppem a place where it is good to live, together. A dynamic community where every resident feels valued, and where future generations find a fertile ground to flourish.
To achieve this, I commit to:

  • Encouraging the development of our children by increasing the number of play and learning spaces, where they can develop their creativity and build strong connections.

  • Supporting families by providing access to quality childcare and offering a variety of extracurricular activities, so that every parent can balance professional and personal life with ease.

  • Protecting our environment by preserving and enhancing our green and blue spaces, which are the lungs of our community. I want to promote soft and accessible mobility for all, creating a healthier and more pleasant living environment.

  • Creating a vibrant village centre where everyone feels welcome. A place where local businesses, events, and cultural activities come together to strengthen social bonds.

Together, let's build a greener, more supportive, and more attractive Wezembeek-Oppem.

Let’s do this together!
