#5 Jan Panneels
WHO AM I?
I am the oldest on our Horizon list (72 years old), yet I want to continue working for the good of our municipality. I have lived in the centre of Wezembeek-Oppem for more than 40 years and, until recently, worked as a GP.
I have always valued our municipality's multilingual character, and I find these values reflected in the Horizon list. I received a Flemish education, and my wife is French-speaking; our children are also aware of the added value of a fluent knowledge of languages. I enjoy sports activities and socialising. My experience as a general practitioner allows me to look after social issues and common social projects within the framework of the CPAS.
MY Motivations
I wish to continue my social involvement within the framework of CPAS in cooperation with a renewed municipal policy.
My vision for a just and supportive society, underpinned by a renewed municipal policy, is evidence of my commitment to ensuring the shared peaceful happiness of our community.
