WHO AM I?
As a mother of three, a special education teacher, and a committed citizen, I want to use my skills and experience to serve our community and make it a more inclusive and supportive place. I have lived in Wezembeek-Oppem for 15 years and dream of making our beautiful municipality even better.
As a special education teacher, I am sensitive to the needs of families and want to promote inclusive projects. My experience as a breastfeeding and baby-wearing counsellor has also shown me the importance of supporting young parents.
Throughout my life, I have volunteered in various places (inclusive student housing, scout leader, an active member of WOK in transition, foster family, etc.) I am an optimistic citizen who wants to make a difference, which is why. I got involved in Wezem'Move.
My involvement in Wezem'Move and my participation in the discussions on the Plaine des Sports project have shown me that, with more communication and participation, we can accomplish great things. 'Alone we go faster, together we go further.' I am ready to fully invest myself in making Wezembeek-Oppem a great place to live for everyone.
MY Motivations
I am convinced that together, we can create a more caring and supportive community. As a perfect bilingual, I dream of a bilingual list that allows us to overcome linguistic divisions and focus on the projects that bring us together. I also want to develop initiatives to foster social connections, support local associations, and promote sustainable lifestyles. I believe that together, we can create a more caring and supportive community. We have enormous potential to develop it for the benefit of ALL residents!
Priorities
Create a welcome cell for new residents: to stimulate the participation of each new resident in local life
Promote a sharing economy: including by expanding the services of the Kringloop (second-hand shop)
Create a collective service center: make services accessible to all by setting up a local service center
Make it easier to set up intergenerational housing: encourage forms of housing that promote mutual aid between generations
A caring and enterprising municipality for all!
