WHO AM I?

Hello, my name is Bernard Dans, I'm married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren, and I've lived in Wezembeek-Oppem for most of my life. Trained as an economist, I was a company director for almost 20 years. Financial and project management, human resources management, organizational skills and team motivation are just some of the assets I'd like to make available to the Commune and its citizens. Now retired, I devote my time to my passions: my grandchildren, sport and music. And soon, I hope, to have the opportunity to participate in the management of our beautiful commune.

Mes Motivations

I've spent my entire career in the private sector, where I've worked in purchasing, sales and marketing, mainly in the retail sector. I now aspire to put my experience and know-how at the service of the community. Having the feeling that, as a citizen, I no longer felt at the center of the concerns of our current elected representatives, I decided to put my skills and motivation at their disposal to bring about a much-needed improvement. That's why I joined the Horizon list.

What motivates me most is :

  • The desire to recreate a bilingual list made up entirely of bilingual candidates, aimed at ALL citizens, with the ambition of restoring their central role,

  • Demonstrate greater rigor and transparency in the management of the commune,

  • Preserve green spaces as places to meet, share and feel good.

Mes Priorités

  1. A coherent and high-quality urban planning where green spaces are preserved to become places of meeting and well-being.

  2. Rigorous financial management that puts an end to excessive investments in favor of those that benefit the greatest number of people.

  3. A municipality that develops a rich cultural and sports offering and provides the necessary infrastructure to support it.
