#18 Alice Delvaux

WHO AM I?

A resident of the commune for nearly 20 years, I grew up here before settling down with my partner, Gaëtan Schamp. Today, I am proud and happy to see my children, Basile (6) and Léon (4), thrive in this same environment.

With a Master's degree in Economics and Management, I began my career at an international audit firm before taking on various financial management roles in both small companies and larger organizations. Currently, I am the Financial Director of a pan-European NGO recognized in the fields of transport and the environment. These professional experiences have allowed me to develop a critical mindset as well as a strong ability to adapt to a wide range of challenges.

On a personal level, I have been actively involved in the life of the commune for many years. As a former member of the Saint-Joseph unit, I have had the opportunity to contribute to various community projects, including the co-creation of a collaborative garden and chicken coop, as well as the establishment of the "Green Team" within the parents' association at my children's school, La Fermette.

MY Motivations

Childcare facilities (nurseries, schools, extracurricular activities), mobility issues, community spirit, and urban planning have always been subjects close to my heart. It was therefore natural for me to join the citizen movement Wezem'Move two years ago.

  • Here are the priorities I advocate for HORIZON:

    • Transparency and Access to Information: Simplify access to communal information by utilizing AI translation tools.

    • Safe Mobility for All: Ensure safe travel for all users.

    • Childcare Solutions for Young Children: Create additional nursery places to ease the pressure on parents (and grandparents), allowing them to have a more balanced professional/active life from the start of their parenthood.

    • Valued Communal Spaces: Transform currently unused or underused communal spaces into areas for intergenerational gatherings and citizen initiatives.

    • Healthy Food for Our Children: Promote access to healthy and quality food in all the commune's schools at a price accessible to all.

Integrated Management of Communal Projects: Approach projects holistically, rather than in isolation, to effectively meet the needs of citizens.

In the upcoming elections, let's vote together for HORIZON!
